The Ancient Ones
I’ve always been fascinated by Bristlecone Pines, some of the oldest living things on Earth. The ones here in Colorado are not as old as some, but still many are over 1,500 years old. I sincerely hope that human caused climate change is not the death of these ancient survivors. Of all the ecosystems on Earth, the high alpine homes of these ancient trees is one of the least forgiving.
